and cruises. UHI is also an accredited travel agency of the Japanese
Embassy in the Philippines.
UHI boasts of its outbound travel programs such as MEMORY Tours
covering favorite destinations all over the world and JALSELECT Tours
which distinctively uses Japan Airlines as its carrier. Being part of the
Japan airlines group of companies, UHI houses the JALPAK Regional
office in Manila. The JALPAK group is a vast worldwide network of offices in
the Americas, Europe and the Asia/Oceania Region. JALPAK Manila facilitates
quality inbound programs catering to Japanese tourists coming to the
Philippines and local Kababayans alike. These tour programs became
very popular with travel agents and the traveling public because of their
quality and reliability.
As a recognized company in the travel industry, UHI is affiliated and
accredited with various travel related entities. These entities include the
International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Department of Tourism
(DOT), the Philippine Travel Agency Association (PTAA), Philippine IATA
Agents Travel Association (PIATA), Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA),
the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), the ASEAN Tourism Association
(ASEANTA).
UHI meets the demand of travel related services through efficient use of
information technology. UHI is powered by four Global Travel Distribution Systems
(GDS) namely Amadeus, Abacus, Galileo and Japan Airline's iPlus system
giving it total control over booking reservations for airlines, hotels, rail
services, car rentals and many other travel related services.
