Introduction
The Consulate General of Japan in Manila, as well as the consular
offices in Cebu and Davao have introduced new procedures for visa
application. Beginning July 30, 2007, visa applications at the
Consulate-General of Japan in Manila must be lodged through agencies
accredited by the Consulate-General. This new system will have the
significant feature of accepting visa application without the necessity
for the applicant to personally appear at the Embassy of Japan.
Universal Holidays,
Inc. (UHI) is a duly
accredited agency of the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines
under category "A" wherein all types of Japan Visa application can be
lodged, except for "other" specific visa type cases.
As
an accredited agency, UHI will educate an applicant in need of a Visa
based on the applicant's purpose of visiting Japan. UHI will validate
the application and check the completeness of the required documents to
be lodged. UHI will submit the application to the Consulate-General
of Japan in Manila for approval. It is worthy to note that UHI cannot
guarantee the issuance of a Visa to the applicant. Moreover, a Visa to
visit Japan cannot always guarantee entry to Japan.
