Due to the entry and visa restrictions surrounding the Novel Corona Virus in Japan, the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines announced that:

ALL TYPES OF VISA APPLICATIONS TO JAPAN ARE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

*Except Diplomatic or Official Visas and Visas to be issued humanitarian consideration or urgent need at this stage

*Diplomatic and Official Visas will only be processed directly with the Japan Embassy, while scheduled appointments will be required by UHI to process visa applications for humanitarian reasons.

This regulation is effective until further notice and may change subject to the Japanese government’s mandates.
