Itinerary
- Tour start at AVANTI Sunrise Tours Desk (Kyoto Hachijo Exit)
- Visit Nijo-jo Castle (World Heritage Site), the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for the Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see.

- Visit Kinkakuji Temple (World Heritage Site) and Kyoto Imperial Palace.
- Lunch at local restaurant. Proceed to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, the head shrine of some 40,000 inari-jinja shrines located all over Japan. The bright red Senbon Torii gates are a must-see attraction.

- Visit Sanjusangendo Hall and Kiyomizudera Temple (World Heritage Site).
- Drop off at Kyoto station or some selected hotels.

Reminders
1. The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, during Aoi Festival on May, New Year's holidays, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event). Complete details are available in the tour voucher once finalized.
2. During the Gion Festival (Sakimatsuri, in July).
3. The order of activities and arrival times may differ depending on road conditions and congestion at destinations.
4. A Japanese set meal will be served for lunch.
